What Is An Oath?
An Oath is a solemn affirmation, declaration or promise, made under responsibility to God, for the truth of what is stated or the faithful performance of what is undertaken. Under various statues, different forms of affirmation or solemn declaration are allowed in lieu of an Oath. In the state of California, an Oath or Affirmation is acceptable.
How do I get a background check?
Do you ever wonder what may be on your criminal record? People request background checks on themselves for various reasons. If it’s for employment, visa, immigration or you just want to know what is on your record, there is a process. A full background check requires fingerprints. The information should go through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Need a Notary and No Current ID?
A signer may use two credible witnesses personally known to the signer. Each credible witness must have a valid ID. A credible witness can not be named in the document.
Does a document need to be signed in the presence of a Notary?
It depends, Documents requiring acknowledgments normally do not need to be signed in the Notary’s presence. However, the signer must appear before the Notary at the time of notarization to acknowledge that he or she freely signed for the purpose stated in the document.
On the other hand, documents requiring a jurat must be signed in the presence of the Notary. A jurat indicates that the individual signed and gave an oath or affirmation in the presence of the Notary.
Notary Plus Mobile Service was a big help yesterday. I went in for a notary and Teresa made a copy of my taxes for me. Thanks Teresa!
Teresa will hook it up! I had to come in and get passport photos and something notarized. In and out in 15 minutes which also included Teresa custom sizing a picture for me.
Oh my gosh……. I am so glad i found her! We had to get some background checks and finger printing done for some new employees. A girl at my hair salon of all places told me about Teresa and gave me her card. She was so nice and we were able to get an appointments and get every one in within the next couple of days. I Can not thank or recommend her enough, and I will be using her for all future backgrounds, fingerprints, notary’s, you name it.
Teresa was on-time and her estimate over the phone was the amount we paid!
When my lawyer asked me to have a few documents notarized I immediately felt overwhelmed. Notary Plus Mobile Service Made getting the documents notarized easy and painless. Not only did Teresa come out to my place of business so I didn’t have to waste valuable time driving, she was on time and professional. I will certainly recommend Notary Plus Mobile Service to all my friends and family.
